DISCOVER PUERTO PLATA TRADITIONS & LOCAL FLAVORS

Departing from the pier we will pass by the most importance sites of Puerto Plata. Driving through the Malecón observe the San Felipe Fortress, where you will receive information related to its history, followed by a panoramic visit of Cathedral San Felipe and Plaza Independencia (former central park). Afterwards, make your way to “Don Fernando’s Ranch”. Once at the ranch you will be able to walk  through plantations of different kind of local fruits; coffee, cacao, banana, mangos, sugar cane, among a variety of exotic flowers and plants. Learn about the elaboration process of Dominican coffee, cacao and rum’s. Enjoy a delicious taste of Dominican fresh coffee, rum and sample tropical season fruits, followed by a delicious typical Dominican lunch.
